3 Hacks for your Q2 Success

New Quarter. Let’s not mess this one up. 😅

Today is Day 1 of Q2 which means... 

New target.
Fresh pipeline.
Clean slate.

And I bet Q1 didn’t go exactly as planned, did it?

Some deals slipped. Others disappeared. 

This happens and it sucks, but what matters now is what you do with Q2.


Don’t just start. Reflect first!

Most sellers jump into a new quarter like:

“New quarter, new me, let’s go!”

…and then do the exact same things again.

Instead, take 30 minutes today and be honest:

• What actually worked in Q1?
• What felt like a waste of time?
• Where did deals stall?
• Where did you lose control?

And the big one:

👉 Which deals did you just drag into Q2… without a plan?

Because “carrying over pipeline” is not a strategy.

If a deal slipped, something was missing.

So define it now:

• What’s the next real step?
• Who do you need to re-engage?
• What needs to change this time?


Stop relying on motivation

You don’t hit target because you feel like it.

You hit target because you show up consistently.

Think about it like working out.

You don’t wake up every morning asking:
“Do I feel like going to the gym?”

You just know:

Monday. Wednesday. Friday. -> Gym Day! 

Now apply that to sales.

What are your non-negotiables this quarter?

• Outbound blocks (locked in your calendar)
• Daily pipeline review (even if it’s just 20–30 mins)
• Weekly deal check

Consistency is what makes pipeline predictable!


Your mindset shows up before you do

This one is subtle… but huge.

You can have the perfect script, the perfect cadence, the perfect process…

But if your energy is off, your prospect will feel it.

So before your next call, do this:

Sit down.
Take 3 deep breaths.

Then ask yourself:

👉 “How do I want to show up in this conversation?”

Confident?
Curious?
Calm?

And then:

👉 “How would I act if I already hit my target this quarter?”

That version of you, that’s the one you bring into the call.

Because people don’t just buy what you say. They buy how you make them feel.


Final thought

Q2 is not about doing more.

It’s about doing the right things… consistently. That’s it.

And if you’re thinking right now:

“I know what I should be doing… I’m just not doing it consistently.”
