AI Agents in Sales
Last week, we sat down in a small, closed roundtable with sales professionals across the DACH region and discussed the different AI Agents in Sales!
Today I want to share 3 easy steps to check if you are using the right set up for you and your team and what else is possible.
π What the Data Says
The numbers explain why this topic cannot wait:
-
Sales reps spend 60% of their time on non-selling tasks β hunting for decks, manually updating CRMs, writing follow-ups from scratch.
-
Sales professionals using AI save an average of 2 hours and 15 minutes per day, with 78% saying it allows them to focus on higher-value, revenue-generating work. (Sopro, 2025)
-
81% of sales teams have implemented or are experimenting with AI β but the real differentiator is not having the tools. It is knowing how to use them.
The question is no longer whether to start. It is where.
3 Steps to Implement AI in Your Sales Process β Starting Today
Step 1
Write down your full week, process by process

Every recurring task, every handoff, every thing you do more than once. LinkedIn. Prospecting. Meeting prep. Follow-ups. CRM updates. Proposal writing. Reporting. Get it all on paper first.
You cannot improve what you have not mapped. This is not an AI exercise, it is so you get clarity over your time! And it is the step most people skip, which is exactly why their AI tools never actually bring change.
Step 2
Analyse what you can and cannot automate
Look at your list and ask 1 question for each item:
Does this require my judgment, or just my time?
The follow-up is the single most impactful place to start. After every call, take your transcript from tools like Kickscale and run it through Claude. Ask for a structured analysis:
-
Status quo
-
Goals
-
Pain points
-
How your solution maps to each.
What used to take 30 minutes of note-reviewing and thinking now takes 3 minutes of reviewing what the AI surfaces. The Review is key though! Don't replace yourself with AI. Make yourself more efficient.
Step 3
If you lead a team, look at the connected setup
Individual productivity is one thing. Team-wide intelligence is another.
The next level is connecting your Slack to your data sources (CRM, transcripts, LinkedIn signals) so that the right seller gets the right trigger at the right moment.
-
A lead just posted something relevant? The assigned rep gets notified.
-
A champion changed jobs? Someone is alerted before the deal goes cold.
You are not building a robot. You are building a system that makes sure nothing important falls through the cracks.
