Felix’ 3-2-1 Story: A LinkedIn Success Story for Event Follow-Ups

by Doctolib, Sales in DACH
Oct 07, 2026

The biggest question after Events isn't 'Did you have fun?' but how much revenue did you generate!

When we spoke to Felix, Senior Account Executive at Doctolib, he shared one of his favourite ways to squeeze significantly more value out of smaller, highly relevant events.

The most recent example produced 3 additional leads on top of the normal lead list, 2 demos and 1 Closing (so far). Here’s what he did 👇

Step 1:

Relevance over Size

Felix sees more value in smaller, more specialised events where the audience is HIGHLY relevant to him, rather than the big hyped up events where every convo is basically Small Talk at its finest. 😅

That way you make sure you're in a room with 50 of your IDEAL persona and you can actually have quality time with them

Besides that, good media coverage from the organiser via LinkedIn posts helps to find out who is connected to this event online too!

Step 2:

Connection after the Event = Connection during the Event

After the conference, Felix created his own LinkedIn post about it.

In that post, he shared something relevant from the event and became part of the conversation that was already happening around it.

The organiser then reshared his post to get more reach, which is a quite common reaction to an organiser with good media coverage (see Step 1).

Now, his ICP that attended the conference started seeing Felix’s content and reacted to the post. Some of them Felix hadn’t even personally spoken to at the event.

Your event audience is bigger than the people you managed to speak to during the event

Step 3:

Turn engagement into conversation

Where a relevant prospect interacted with the post, it created a very natural reason to start a conversation and talk about the topic of his post.

But this story is only as good as the results. On top of the normal lead list, he was able to generate 3 more leads and so far 2 of those leads became opportunities and 1 of them closed.

Try Felix' 3-2-1 Story after your next Event:

Before you mentally close the event tab, do 3 things:

1. Post one useful takeaway. Something someone who wasn’t there can actually learn from.

2. Tag intelligently. The organiser. A speaker whose session you genuinely enjoyed. Someone relevant to the insight AND your prospects.

3. Check who engages. Especially relevant prospects you didn’t manage to speak to in person!

Then ask yourself: “Is there a conversation I can continue naturally here?”

Your next lead might not come from the conversation you had at the event. It might come from the conversation you start because of it.

Speaking of Events… we have one TODAY. 👀🤖

Together with Markus, we’ll go through the entire Sales Cycle stage by stage and look at:

  • where AI genuinely makes sense

  • when a prompt is enough

  • when you need a specialised tool

  • which tools should actually work together

  • and which ones you can probably get rid of altogether

PLUS: We’ll reveal and analyse the results of our State of AI in DACH Sales 2026 Benchmark live. 📊

Harry’s Law of AI for AEs 🤖
There are 847 new AI tools being launched every five minutes. At least that's how it feels. But if you’re an AE right now, it can seem like you’re supposed to automate EVERYTHING. Prospecting. Research. Meeting prep. Discovery. Follow-ups. CRM. Coaching. So for this week’s Seller Hacks in DACH, we wanted to know: How is an actual Account Executive using AI in their daily Sales life? So we sat d...

Steal Emilia’s AI Meeting Prep Agent for Sales
Most sellers don’t need another AI tool. They need AI to take over the repetitive work they’re already doing every week. And that’s exactly what Emilia has done. The principle is surprisingly simple: You tell the agent WHAT information you need. WHEN you need it. And WHERE you want it delivered. In Emilia’s case, the “where” is particularly useful: 👉 The information gets added directly to the r...
