The SiD Outbound Cadence

by Helena Klaus
May 07, 2025

🧠 Why this matters:

The biggest outbound myth in DACH?

“If they don’t answer the first time, they’re not interested.”

Wrong.

The top-performing cadences didn’t rely on 1 message.

They use 9–12 touches across 4 channels:
👉 LinkedIn, Email, Cold Calls, and Voice Notes.

The key?
✅ Right sequence
✅ Right timing
✅ Right message

Here’s the SiD 12 Touch Points - Outbound Cadence that delivered up to 34% in reply rates 👇 (we use Lemlist to send and analyse our Cadences! You can find the full Cadence here for you to copy!)

✨ Our 12 Touch Points - Outbound Cadence

Day 1

🧑‍💻LinkedIn Connection Request

🔹 No note, no pitch.
Why? In DACH, added notes often feel “salesy.” Pure profile curiosity = more acceptances.

Day 2

🧑‍💻LinkedIn Voice Message

🎙 Personalised, short (under 60 sec), Answer the simple question: Why are you getting in touch? Here is how Sales in DACH could structure it:

“Hey [Name],

I saw you’re hiring 3 SDRs in Berlin – congrats!!
Are you also looking to ramp those new hires fast?
If you’re aiming to drive 20% more pipeline in the next 4 weeks, I’d love to share some best practices with you from some of our customers.
Let me know if this would be interesing for you!
Looking forward to it!”

Day 3

📧 Email #1 (Subject: Connection Request)

Reuse the exact same message as your LinkedIn Voicemail – consistency builds recognition.

Day 4

📞 Call #1

Leave the same message as voicemail if no answer.
Keep it human, friendly, low pressure.

Day 5

🧑‍💻 LinkedIn DM - Follow Up

Message:

“Hey [Name],
What do you think of my voicemail? :)
Think it would make sense to chat further?”

Light touch – keeps tone casual and human.

Day 7

📞 Call #2

Day 8

📧 Email #2 (in thread)

“Hey [Name],
Just following up on my last message :)
Do you think it would make sense to discuss this further?”

Day 10

📞 Call #3

Day 13

🧑‍💻 LinkedIn Voicemail with Free Value Offer

🎁 E.g. Free Trial / Lead Magnet

“Hi [Name],
I figured our free [tool or template relating to the reason why you're reaching out] could be useful – especially if you're testing ways to [insert benefit, like boost reply rates].
👉 [Link]
It's the same tool our Sales in DACH Academy members use to 5x replies in German-speaking markets.
Have fun exploring :)”

Day 15

📧 Email #3 (Subject Line: Follow-Up)

Same offer as LinkedIn, written version:

“Hi [Name],
Not sure if you saw this already – thought our free [tool/resource relating to the reason why you're reaching out] might help if you’re exploring ways to [insert benefit].
👉 [Link]
Some of our Academy members use it to boost reply rates by up to 5x.
Let me know what you think!”

Day 22

🧑‍💻 LinkedIn Breakup Message

“Hey [Name],

no worries if now’s not the right time to chat. I totally get how packed things can get. ☺️

If you’re still curious about [insert your offer’s benefit, e.g. “how others in DACH are getting more replies from cold outreach”], I’ve got something you might enjoy totally for free:

LINK TO VALUE (e.g. Newsletter)

We’re sharing some of our best tactics for free in the Sales in DACH newsletter. Plus access to templates and prompts that are actually working.

I hope you find this useful and if we don’t cross paths again I’ll reach out agin in 3 months. 🙌

Thanks!

Day 23

📧 Final Email (same Thread)

“Hey [Name],

I know LinkedIn messages can easily get buried, so I’m sending this again here, just as a final little value add 🙂

No worries at all if now’s not the right time to chat. I totally get how packed things can get.

But if you’re still curious about [insert offer benefit – e.g. how others in DACH are getting more replies from cold outreach], I’ve got something you might like — completely free:

👉 [Insert link to newsletter or lead magnet]

It’s our Sales in DACH newsletter where we share the best-performing tactics, templates, and ChatGPT prompts that are actually working right now.

Hope it’s helpful, and if we don’t cross paths again soon, I’ll check in again in a few months 🙌

Thanks,

📊 TL;DR?

Here a quick summary:

  • 🔁 10–12 touches over 15–20 days

  • 🧠 Repetition with variation (same message across formats = higher recall)

  • 🧩 Soft CTAs > Hard CTAs

  • 🔉 LinkedIn Voice Notes outperform DMs by 28%

  • 🎁 Value-first works better than pitch-first – every single time.
