Knowledge is not Power. Knowledge is potential Power trumped by Action!

Translated into the Sales World, this means: Only knowing Sales Technique or reading this Newsletter, is not enough to be successful. 
You have to action on it!

Reflect on the last time you have been successful. This can be in a cold call, in a sales meeting, or an overall success like hitting your target last month.

Let’s step away from film and look at sports—Kobe Bryant, one of the most legendary basketball players, didn’t just rely on official training sessions. After practice, he would stay behind and take an extra 300 shots, relentlessly perfecting his throw.

I think we've all heard that Practice makes Masters.

Why is it that we still don't do what we technically know?!

Fear kills Action.

The fear of failing, the fear of rejection, the fear of embarrassing ourselves. 

Cold Calling, especially, is causing so much Anxiety because we make ourselves SO vulnerable to rejection, which is why many of us don't like doing it.
It's a normal human response - our brain sees rejection as a danger and wants to protect us from it.

But so far I've never had a Prospect push a knife through the phone to attack me... So... we have to find a way to overcome this fear and keep our momentum! 

The Momentum Tool, inspired by Tony Robbins' Success Cycle, shows how belief drives results:

Potential -> Action -> Results -> Belief

What does this mean in practice?

Actions you can take TODAY 

Close your eyes and visualise how success in that moment looks like to you! This can be 'Meeting booked', 'Deal closed' or 'Hitting Target'. Whatever it is that you seek success in. 

By visualising success, your brain starts treating it as reality!

It helps you take action with confidence, rather than blocking you from action to protect you.
